I’ve been using this sesame a lot lately and it really helps make simple meals taste more flavorful. The sesame smells very fresh as soon as you open the package, and the extra nutty flavor really stands out compared to regular sesame seeds. The texture is crisp and fragrant, not stale or oily at all. My favorite way to use it is on bibim guksu and fried rice. Just a small sprinkle on top adds so much savory. It also works great on rice bowls, vegetables, or even eggs. I like that the flavor is strong enough that you do not need to use too much each time.
The quality feels very fresh and premium. Definitely one of those small ingredients that makes a big difference in Korean cooking. I will keep repurchasing this!
